Game opens then closes back to desktop

Okay, so bit of an odd issue here. First off, I'll explain what has happened in case it has any relevance.
The other day my user profile on Windows 10 started acting up. The windows search bar would not load, nor any settings and Chrome was being very odd. Using another account solved all this, it worked completely fine. However, when going to launch SGWC the game go to the splash screen of CI Games then just closed back to desktop.
I thought, well I may as well reinstall Windows. Clean start and all that. Did the reset/reinstall not the 100% clean reinstall.

For clarification, all games were on a different drive, so I kept that. In the end, decided to just format it, as only a few games on there I was not playing anymore.

All set up, downloaded Steam, downloaded SGWC again . . . same issue. No idea what is going on. Everything is up to date, updated BIOS, too, with reinstall of Windows.

Any ideas what could be going on here?

Game will not start

Verified files, says one file will be acquired. Reinstalled game will will not open. Get error says invalid game executable. Contacted devs but no response (so far). Had it 2 days, how long before refund option expires. Thanks

Have a search in the forums here. There seem to be two possible fixes for people who experience this:
- add an exception or turn off antivirus
- disable steam cloud saves.

Just to add, I have not downloaded any other games thus far to test, bar a little one to see if it opened. Which it did.
I will get some others downloaded.

2. Type Dxdiag
3. Confirm by pressing 'OK'
4. Click 'Save all information'

I will do that later after work.

Done another sfc /scannow and it pointed to some corrupted files which were repaired. I am thinking now maybe just do a complete clean install.

Easy Anti Cheat makes my Game Crash on startup

If i launch the Game through Steam and the Easy Anti Cheat Launcher activates, it crashes right during the CI Sign. But if i launch it from Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts/win_x64/SGWContracts.exe it starts without any problem. Can i somehow deactivate Easy Anti cheat or tell my system that this thing is okay?
And just a quick side note, i know that other people fixed it with deinstalling their antivirus software, but i wont deinstall my antivirus software.
