Can we turn off that white trail aim assist?
I always found in sniper games that I very soon got used to where bullets would go.

I only ever had to watch cross-wind. Bullet drop became like second nature in these games.

It means that I would prefer not to have that white trail line, aim assist.
1. I would rather it not be in my optics.
2. It would make it too easy.
3. I don't need it, unless shots are particularly difficult, and even then I manage.

Oddly when we see gameplay review on Youtube they always used aim-assist. They always had that red-ring for bullet placement.

Honestly it's not hard without it. It becomes like second-nature, knowing where the bullets will go.

The line isn't visible all the time, though. You can totally just ignore it and shoot when it's not even on the screen. But how are you going to judge horizontal deviation from wind without the indication?

I don't remember seeing a setting for it. I'll check tonight.

There was always an indicator for cross-wind, somewhere above. That was all that was needed. Bullet-drop just became learned very quickly.

Cool thanks. I am in need of a shooter to play.

I agree with Tiny Trees - on th hardest level it shouldn't appear or there should be a setting for it.

Sorry dude, no way to turn this off. Maybe the devs will add a setting in the future. Would be nice for super-hardcore players (not me).

Thank you. I think your answer must be the definitive one.

I'm not a hardcore player. I most likely used the aim assist when I began maybe with the first SGW. I am a sniper game fan though, so I played them all. I guess I just learned to play without aim-assist.

I'm downloading this game now, I enjoyed SGW 3 with no aim assist, was the option to remove it added to SGWC ?

Shooting once somewhere close to your target will tell you where aproximately the bullet hit, next time just adjust shot, easy?aim assist is just dumb.
