Southern Boil is "Fried" but not Corndogs?

I thought Gustav would accept Southern Boil since it's an "Exotic" dish, but apparently this was not so because somehow it's classified as a "Fried" dish despite that (1) No oil is used in the process of making the dish in-game, and (2) Southern Boil is never a fried food in real life. Meanwhile, real life Corndogs are hot dogs that are battered and then deep fried, yet Gustav will eat those.

This really grates my nerves. Why, devs?
