Getting Elena to "Ecstatic"?

How, simply how? I've tried finding her favorite food, but no dice. Her level stays balanced between going to the museum and getting fed Plain / Healthy food each day, but her mood can't break through into the "Ecstatic" range. Not sure what I'm missing here, but any help offered from those who have achieved this would be greatly appreciated. 😄

I did have both food boosters, she visiting the gallery booster, and proud of me booster. Good to know dot in the center is not the requirement. Hopefully I hit it then as it's too late now (I really didn't want to do one of those mini games again. 🤣)

No. Daria never joins you on the boat and Jackie has a negative affect on others.

The issue was the meter being unclear. I thought everyone had to have the dot in the center of the square, but they do not, so I did get everyone. And Daria I read is glitched in how it displays (I didn't get a chance to look again before I moved on, hoping it had worked). Basically you just need to hug her and give her an apple.

This is one of the achievements that I will never be bothered to get (the happy dance), simply because Elena is pain in the ass. I already released Gustav, so I'm already screwed either way.

That's fine that you don't have Gustav, you have his gallery, that is enough so long as there's no one on board who has a negative affect on her (Bruce and Mickey, Gio, Jackie). Check in on her daily. When you see she's got the "visited Gustav's gallery" buff do the following:
- Feed her her fav food
- Complete one of her tasks
- Give her a food she likes as soon as she's hungry again.

Apparently the box just needs to light up to get the achievement.

Actually Jackie has a positive effect on others, unlike Giovikins and B&M (who each have a slight negative effect). When he's in a good mood, he'll help out others on the boat.

Anyway, to best get Elena to ecstatic, since you can't hug her and improve her home to boost her mood:

• Only feed her stuff she likes: healthy food and plain food, and especially her favorite food, GREEN SALAD. This is modestly effective, in part due to that she has the slowest appetite timer.
  
• Have a Lounge (the buff is "Had a refreshing beverage").
  
• Fully improve Gustav's Gallery (the buff is "Visited Gustav's gallery")
  
• Have Atul and/or Gustav on board, and make sure they're at the right mood levels (ecstatic for Atul, next to ecstatic for Gustav). This is the easiest way to make Elena ecstatic since they play music that gives really good mood boosters.
  
• When the time feels right, complete one of her challenges. She'll admire your work ethic, though not permanently.
  
• Finally, have Jackie on board and at ecstatic mood, so that he'll help others like Elena.

get rid of the bull and bird dudes! they make her miserable.
do NOT upgrade her place, just build it. Get Gustav to full happy so he will play the fiddle, give her some food so she will visit the gallery. Basically full happy.

Jackie had a negative impact on Buck for me - he insulted him.

All of those points help, but you don't need all of them to reach ecstatic. I had her there with only Buck on board, and he doesn't impact her one way or the other. I never saw the lounge buff, but good to know. I got her with food, the gallery, and completing one of her tasks.

I can confirm that it's still possible to get her to ecstatic even if you don't have Atul/Gustav, and even if you fully upgraded her house. As long as you still have Jackie, he can fill in the role too (once he's ecstatic). The debuff from both Jackie and improving her house goes away after a while.

Hey.

I got it with these buffs:

-Refreshing drink from the lounge
-Jackie helping her out
-Has eaten a meal she likes
-Proud of my work ethic

This is how I did it:

-I made Jackie happy with hugs and food (his house is maxed so that was easy)
-I placed Gustav's Gallery and the Lounge near her house
-I fed her a cherry
-I completed the gold dragon challenge in under 7 minutes

I was also ready to feed her a green salad after the challenge in case it would be needed. I did it after the achievement popped to see what would happen and it maxed her out. So if you've already sent Jackie away you could probably do that instead.

I read that Gustav's Gallery gives her a buff as well; so I assume you could either get that one or the Lounge buff and follow the same steps.

I also accidentally upgraded her house; the debuff went away after a while.

Summary: I'm fairly certain you can get her to ecstatic even if you've sent all the other spirits away.

Keeping Gustav on board seems to be a must. I just borrowed a save file from the Guides section on Steam to get that achievement because it seems impossible to get without at least one other Spirit's help.
