Stuck on Alice's last quest

Hi all I seem to be bugged on the last quest before taking Alice to the Everdoor. She asks me to dress like her daughter in the beach outfit with the red hat. I have tried everything up a down and she still wont acknowledge me. At first she kept telling me to change clothes and when I did she just stares at me and I can not interact but to feed her or hug. I have no option to talk to her. Playing on PC/ Steam

Try putting on JUST Annie's outfit, as it is directly from the list, not manually put on each clothing article. I had this happen and talked to her, then was prompted about the Red hat.

Save and quit then jumping back in sorted it for me.

I was giving this some thought and I remembered last I played that I selected Annie's outfit before any prompt to do so, which caused my bug.

It's a bug. Save and quit and try again, as others said, it works.

Search on here - there's a good thread with a wide list of methods that worked for others - one will work for you.

Same problem as listed above. However I did check various threads on this bug and no method has yet worked.

I also think I wore Annie's outfit before the quest prompted me. I was able to progress the quest to the point Alice asks me to bring her home from the brow of the boat. So the quest is ready to complete, but hasn't. She wont actually go home despite her saying shes ready.

I had this same issue yesterday (Jan ) 24th. I saved quit then restarted and it worked right away. Another fix I saw but didn't try was to move her house up and then back down to ground level.

I remember that it's supposed to be Annie's outfit with a different hat. If you're wearing annie's outfit without changing the hat, that might also be why it's not working.

The first post literally states the correct outfit with the red hat. This is a bug, not a quest issue.

I have this exactly problem and I posted a topic here on January 9 :/ And until now, Developer still haven't answer me back and no one help me so far..... I'm glad I'm not the only one who have this problem. My topic is "Alice got stuck on the port and no blanket".

I tried all the methods (quit/save/restart, different clothes, etc.) and nothing is working....

Tried this method since it was the only one I havent tried. Shes still stuck on the brow of the boat.

Oh right, there's another thing. Did you try putting her house on the deck of the ship? I remember being stuck there for a while with Alice just standing on the prow without saying anything before Atul gave me a hint by saying Alice was having trouble using the ladders. When I lowered her house down to the deck, the quest progressed.

Okay, I figured out my issue. I did have this bug, and after messing around at both stages of the outfit, it eventually ended up working. Just changing, talking, changing, talking. But after she says to go home, she means just the door. (My issue was thinking she meant she wanted to go to her house first, but actually she wont move until you're at the door).

Hope others who are having these issues figure it out

Just here to say I've had the same bug, I've done all the things listed. every combo of clothing (plus even changed the cat!), saved/loaded, went to an island with a shop to get her off the boat, so far nothing has worked. Her house has always been on the floor level, maybe will try moving it up and back down. Will update if I stumble upon a working solution.
