But yeah, I've seen Haddock show up before you even get the improved tools, and I have to ask: why the heck are they harder to catch than Tuna??? It's a bit of a killjoy tbh, seeing their reeling pattern and knowing that I'll never catch one so easily without the improved tools.
It would likely be caused by the same bug yes. The game sometime not registering you entering a zone. As for the difficulty, I don't think they were intended to be harder than the tunas. I'll mention it to the designer.
