Garden trees...
Is there any way to change the tree in the garden?

That's what I initially did, but I found it easier and (literally!) more fruitful to just build another orchard since, once grown, trees bear fruit indefinitely. I wound up with 3 orchards in total. I only take down orchards if I truly don't need them anymore.
