Whats the point of this with PPT?

We have puyo puyo tetris. Whats the point of this game? Its basically less now and just puyo.

If Sega organises Puyo tourneys and uses the modern Puyo game, Puyo Tetris, they need to pay the Tetris Company. Sega are avoiding that happening in the future.

Fever mode is back, and framedata correctly matches the arcade original.

But more importantly, the fact that this game doesn't have Tetris means the online is actually good. Mixed versus was the worst thing that ever happened to Puyo and I'm so relieved to be rid of it.

Puyo vs Tetris in Puyo Puyo Tetris was cancer. It simply just wasn't fun at all.
This game is more for people who just wanna play Puyo Puyo and that's okay.
Besides, PPT is still an option. You don't HAVE to go and buy PPC / PPeS.

No mixed versus will mean matches are completely fair and balanced, also fever mode is here which isn't in PPT.

A majority of people on PPT only played Tetris online. This will mainly be for people who wanna play only Puyo Puyo online. Yes.

Nope. The first Puyo games until SUN, as well as Fever, had been released on PC in the past.

But it's the first in over 15 years, if that counts.

Basically, yeah. It's also supposedly going to have a good tutorial for puyo puyo that goes deeper than PPT's tutorial, but we'll see about that.
