Compete in the Ultimate Puzzle Match in Puyo Puyo™ Tetris® 2, available today!

We are excited to announce Puyo Puyo™ Tetris® 2 is now available to purchase on Steam. This exciting action puzzle experience provides a variety of ways for players to showcase their skills, including a multitude of free content that has been added since the console launch last December.

Steam users will be able to enjoy a slew of flashy features, including:

An absolutely packed roster of 40 playable characters, including the beloved Sonic the Hedgehog, each with their own unique stats and abilities you can carry with you to the robust, RPG-inspired Skill Battle mode
A variety of different modes supporting traditional and re-imagined ways to play the iconic puzzle games, such as Swap mode and Party mode
An extensive Adventure mode, featuring a brand-new story that brings together the game’s vibrant cast for endless exploration in overworld maps
A bounty of competitive Online features, as well as a co-op Boss Raid mode where you must work together with three players to take down fierce CPU-controlled bosses, and a new Spectator mode where you can cheer on others battling in Versus and Skill Battle matches
Color vision accessibility features which include adjustments for color saturation that can be toggled on or off throughout the game

The 2.02 update for Puyo Puyo Champions is now live!

Full patch notes are as follows:
• Spectate: The Spectate feature has been added to Online. Players can spectate Free Play matches created by other players.
• Color Blind Settings: Color Blind Settings has been added to Options. Allows players to change the colors of Puyo skins.
• New Characters: Rafisol and Paprisu have been added as hidden playable characters.
• Game Speed: An option to change game speed has been added to the pre-match Game Settings. Allows the overall match speed to be slowed down.
• Puyo Skins: The Gummy skin has been added to Puyo Skins.
• Board Position: An option to choose what side your board appears on has been added to the pre-match settings. You can now select a Board to use during a match.
• Results: The Results screen has been updated to show more details after each match, such as maximum Chain unleashed.
• Semi-Auto: The Semi-Auto feature has been added. Allows autoplay during a match when Handicap settings are set to Sweet or Mild.

Lessons and Challenge Mode Now Available!

Challenge Mode
Hone your Puyo skills by competing in various challenges including score-based and time-based scenarios where the goal is to get as many points as quickly possible. This mode also includes 3 new achievements!

Lessons Mode
Check out Lessons Mode for tutorials featuring Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced lessons that take a deep dive into how to become better at Puyo Puyo, along with over 200 interactive problems to test your newfound skills.

Patch Notes
Along with the new modes, this update also brings the following fixes and additions:

Fixed a bug that could cause low framerate issues when display is set to fullscreen and V-sync is enabled
Fixed a bug that prevented a fourth controller from being used in 4-player local matches
Disconnecting from a Puyo League match by adjusting the window size no longer results in a Rating increase
Clicking outside of fullscreen window no longer causes it to minimize
Gameplay automatically pauses when bringing up the Steam overlay
Added a Delete All option for managing stored replays
Added keyboard support for cheat commands
Updated credits
Various minor text and UI fixes
