In Columns, you don't have an AI dropping garbage puyos whenever you finally set up a chain, thus ruining your entire game and forcing you start over.
Unlike Tetris, garbage in this game lands on top of you. So you're almost ready to trigger a chain, well, the opponent does a cheap move like a 2 chain and he ruins your well constructed for 4-chain by landing garbage on top.
I still don't understand completely the blocking method.

I too had a tough time with this game. Thanks to the lessons provided, I was able to take on Risukuma and other players online!
If that isn't enough, I can teach you what I know.
