[Linux] Solar crashing when going near other solar systems

Everytime i get near another solar system the game stops working (playing it in windowed mode)... i have to kill it from console and start again (and pray to not get another crash)

Find the install directory of the game. If there was an ingame crash, there should be a 'log.txt' file, send that to me [e-mail]. Try playing the game through terminal too, then send the output to that email.

Strangely enough the window game doesn't freeze when ran through the terminal while it freezes when launched from the steam client. Also i cannot find a "log.txt".

When you run the game through terminal, does the Steam Overlay still show up? If the overlay doesn't show up when it works, then it could be an issue with that. A bunch of games have been having issues with the Steam Overlay (including this one), and that's just due to Linux Steam still being in Beta.

It might be the case, even if disabling the overlay interface from Steam doesn't jelp. Just starting from terminal.
