can someone explain the multiplayer? no voices, no real change in difficulty, no penalty for deaths, no health bar. is that really it?

The multiplayer is terrible, please make it fun like the single-player. You're just mindlessly fight robots with a friend and the generic boss music on loop isn't helping.
