Unrelated Question for THQ: Remastered Scooby-Doo! Night of 100 Frights?
With the badass looking BFBB coming out in June are there any plans to remaster one of the best Scooby-Doo games ever made, Scooby-Doo! Night of 100 Frights?

Different IP and license I know but man would that be awesome seeing that game brought to Steam and remastered. Hell, I would love to see Classic Creep Capers as well since that game was fun as hell and had a memorable soundtrack.

Thanks to Purple Lamp for their work on the remaster of SpongeBob and for THQ for putting the money up for it and acquiring the license!

This or Tak and Power of Juju are the ones I'd love to see next if they ever plan on doing more.

On the note of other games/series they've either picked up or should pick up, I noticed they bought the rights to Timesplitters a while ago. I have been eagerly waiting to see if they'll revive that series, Future Perfect goes up with some of my best favorite games. I have high hopes in what THQ Nordic plans on doing with games from our childhood such as Destroy All Humans, Spongebob Battle For Bikini Bottom, and hopefully Night of 100 Frights.

Night of a 100 Frights is an underrated gem no lie. Having it just ported would be enough for me to buy it.

Look, think about it this way...

BfBB Rehydrated has a certain selling point threshold. If sales exceed that threshold by a large amount, THQNordic and Purple Lamp will clearly see that more is wanted. And they're already planning on doing a bunch of old games after this.

I'm expecting to see movie after rehydrated if it does well, and honestly, I played No100F, and it was pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ hilarious. Definitely the most laughs a game got out of six year old me during those times, but the game wasn't nearly as popular.

To this day, not even a million copies of the game were sold. BfBB sold almost 1.25 million to this day. This is not necessarily a bad thing, in fact Night of 100 Frights sold around 960k copies, which for a game like Scooby who was definitely not as popular of a tv show character as spongebob was, that's pretty good.

But take some things into consideration:
Spongebob is still an ongoing tv show that has millions of viewers (95% children) tune in every week for new episodes and ♥♥♥♥.
Scooby Doo, from what I can see after doing a little research, is no longer ongoing (I'm probably wrong and didn't do enough research please don't hate me for it).

If a show is discontinued, why would they remaster/remake the game for it? BfBB is getting a remake because there is a large community to back it and support the development group.

So, for the original poster of this thread, The Renegadist, what I would recommend doing, if you want to see a remake/remaster of this, is to email Purple Lamp Studios with ideas for after BfBB Rehydrated releases, and try to start a community with a few friends or something like that, and try to spread word through different social media platforms. Twitch is a great place to get a live audience, and discord is a great way to bring everyone together to have discussions about the game, etc.

I would love to see a remake/remaster of No100F. It's a very casual and funny game that was worth my $15 when I bought it 10 or 15 years ago. I never beat it cus the level structure was kinda wonky and random, honestly. But that doesn't change the fact that the game is absolutely hilarious and faithful to the show, because guess what? THE SHOW WAS RANDOM AS ♥♥♥♥. RANDOM ♥♥♥♥ JUST HAPPENED. ALL THE TIME. So why wouldn't the game be the same? That's what made it so much fun to play.
