Sock in Spongebob's House

So I am trying to gather all of the remaining Golden Spatula's and Socks in the game. And I realised that I missed the one in Spongebob's House. I already triggered the ball and forgot to hit the switch to get it at the beginning of the game. I was wondering if anybody knows a way to hit the switch without the ball?

I had this same issue and I was hoping the patches would fix it but it didn't
Unfortunately you'll probably have to start a new save to get it

Damn. I mean I ultimately did start a new save just for that one sock but now that means I have to play through the whole game again in order to get all the achievements. Which is kind of annoying not gonna lie.

Just use sandy in spongebob's house, go to any level with sandy then just warp to the closet spatula.
