Know nothing about Spongebob, but love Collectathons

Title. As a kid, I basically never watched Spongebob and didn't enjoy it when I did; the idiocy and grossout humor of most cartoons was never my interest. I mainly watched imported anime dubs like Pokemon and Yugioh. Despite this, I love Collectathon platformers like Mario Odyssey and Yooka-Laylee, and from what I've heard, BfBB stands the test of time. I think I remember playing BfBB (or another Spongebob game) at a local gym once; it's probably my only positive memory of the series.

This game probably still isnt for you then. I mean, yes its a collect-a-thon, but every single collectible is spongebob themed and everything about the levels screams spongebob (except for kelp forest, ♥♥♥♥ that level). If you didn't like spongebob, then you wont like this game. Trust me, save your money for another collectathon such as a hat in time or mario odyssey, all games that are original ideas created by their developers and not based on a tv show.

I've played both those games, some time ago. Still, you're probably right; the Spongebob theme would probably be a barrier to enjoying the game.

I think you should go back to Spyro ™ Reignited Trilogy and keep Collectathons.

You probably watched post-movie Spongebob where the series went downhill into grossout and shock.

You should probably try to watch Season 1-4 and the movie since that one is much better even for adults.
