Also if you could post specs that would be good as well.
2) I've added my computer specs to the main post
I'm considering doing a freah reinstall. However, I'm wondering if I can keep my save files and add them back oncve the game is installed again. I'm hesitant because I'm worried that the old saves might corrupt the game again. What do you suggest?
Hate to say that the only solution seems to be a fresh reinstall. I haven't had the oppurtunity yet because my internet is VERY slow.
Here's hoping you find a better fix.
Also, you did not post your DirectX Version, make sure you are using DirectX 11 specifically. DirectX 10 and 12 will not work on this game.
If those methods above don't work, here's a couple of different methods I've found online besides a fresh reinstall:
1) Run the game as an administrator. Create a shortcut for it on your desktop, right click it, and select "Run as Administrator".
2) Windows Defender, or any other anti-virus software for that matter, could be detecting the game as a trojan horse or other kind of malware/virus. Go into Windows Defender and whitelist the game as safe to use.
3) Make sure your GPU Drivers are up-to-date. Go to https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx fill out all of your GPU information in the dropdowns, and press search. It will automatically give you the most recently released Graphics Driver. I'm honestly sure you've tried this already tho, most know to update their drivers as often as possible.
*Quick Edit
On the contrary, you could already have your CPU being boosted to the max of 4.3 GHz which could result in your CPU overheating if you do not have the necessary hardware to keep your CPU cool whilst overclocking. This can also be fixed via QuickCPU. Hope this helps you out.
