So can you not play the campaign with friends

The main thing i wanted to do was play the campaign with friends but it looks like you can only play some weird mode with friends is there a way to play campaign with friends

Was there a way to do that in the original? Because no, the story mode is not co-op in this version.

no there wasnt but i was hoping i could play the game with some friends the way it was advertised made it seem like it was coop but its just multiplayer

Sry but only the coop online endless horde mode is available to play with friends. Not the single player.

It is unofficially possible to play the campaign with friends using force loads. I did it, but you'll have to be willing to jump through some hoops:

It's literally advertised as co-op on the steam page but it's not co-op and yeah I'm necroing a post because I had to google it after the fact
