Sand Mountain Snowmen not spawning.

Hey, I've almost completed the game but can't get the last sock in flounder hill from destroying the snowmen. They don't spawn in and the bar seems to permanently be at 0/8. Does anyone know why this happened and do you know how to fix it?

I just collected (destroyed) all the snowmen.
I first ran the slide to get familar with it. I noticed the one or other snowman which I destroyed.
Second run on the slide was the one where I tried to beat the time of Buddy Bubble (or how this bubble cowboy is called).
The snowmen were always (on every run, on every challenge) somewhere to find.
If I got off the slide or lost all life, the destroyed snowmen were reset to 0/8.
I had several runs at the slide to destroy all snowmen.

Did I understand right, that NONE of the snomen spawned to your game?

none of the snowmen / sandmen are spawning for me either. they used to be there prior to trying to the course. Now, none of them are there.

As long as you do not "die" on the course, the snowmen will keep disappeared. So you know which one you already have colllected. If you get off the track then all snowmen are reset and you have to start to collect them from the beginning.
