Better than Super Mario? Discuss.

I know, I know, its not.... but, I am enjoying this a lot more than I ever did the last Super Mario (Odyssey) though. And its not nostalgia. I never played the original game in 2003. I didn't even start watching SpongeBob till I was about 11 or so (I'm 24 now, still love this ♥♥♥♥). I know this is a bit of a ♥♥♥♥-post but I'm curious...

i think its better than odysee 1 reason is that the levels in odysee are always just a flying platform like just look at the levels they always are in the air and the levels from spongebob are on the ground and feel conectet and 2 the moons dont feel realy rewardet they are just too many of them and in spongebob you usualy have to do something for that

Interesting thing about this though, BFBB was based off of the same game that Odyssey was returning to the roots of: Super Mario 64. So I believe a better comparison would be debating if BFBB improved upon the ideas of early 3D platforming (N64 and PS1 era) of games like Banjo Kazooie, Conkers Bad Fur Day, and like earlier, SM 64.

That is a good point. Honestly though, my favourite game in this genre is A Hat in Time, I just wondered what people would say. I was honestly surprised at how good BFBB is. I never played the original.

Spongebob Rehydrated is shorter compared to Mario games like 64 and Sunshine, So im going with Mario games. Game still fun though
