King Jellyfish Bug

I died right as I landed the last hit on King Jellyfish. I was able to get the Jellyfish Jam, but as the cutscene didn't finish, his shower curtain didn't open. I could take the warp box down to the end of the slide, and was able to hop onto the very end of the slide from that area to get the spatula, but there's a sock on the slide that I won't be able to get.

Is there a way to refight King Jellyfish or a way to force the curtain to open?

Having this same issue right now. I got the achievement for defeating him but the water never drained and the curtain never opened. Did you figure out a solution?

worked fine for me...just because you have a newer rig doesn't always mean it's stable :D

Is there a way for you to skim along the edge and get to the slide?

how even were you able to do that? you have some frame perfect input.

The same thing happened to me on PS4 just recently, so I can confirm this issue is not only still there. So, Fozzie, this person isn't going through this just because of a rig issue, and it doesn't have to be just you to play the game to confirm this bug. This is a frame perfect glitch in which the player defeats the jellyfish just as they die in the level.
