Spongebobs Dream difficulty spike

OMG Spongebobs dream. What the heck?? It probably took 45 tries just to get past the rotating spike blocks. It wouldn't it be so bad if when you jump for the ledge there is a huge boss with a force field around him so it knocks you away. And to make things even more fun he shoots rockets and if you try to jump over them and they hit the ground beneath you it still knocks you off from the huge AOE it makes. That is like 4 seconds into the level.

You can use cruise bubbles to defeat them from a distance

I would say SpongeBobs Dream is the hardest area, you really do need to use everything you can to your advantage or it can get somewhat hellish.

Using the cruise bubble frequently will help make it easier.

Would be great if the difficulty of the dream part would be the base for the whole game.

Everyone complains about the Rolling Ball Puzzle in the Mermalair, but SpongeBob's Dream is much more difficult. Between the various spike blocks and Squidward's/Mr. Krabs' dreams, it's no cakewalk.

I definitely spent more time on the ball puzzle than any of the dream stages. especially with the reduced knockback in the remake. Although I will agree that Mr. krabs dream was a bit hard. The spongebob's dream section requires nothing more than patience, the bubble bowl, and the cruise bubble if you don't want to get closer to the oil robot.

lol I eventually gave up on the ball puzzle. I figured not getting 1 golden spatula wasn't that bad.

SpongeBob's Dream was never properly placed. It's designed to be the final level before the Chum Bucket Lab, but they gave it no spatula requirement as if it's where you should go right after Robo-Patrick. You should complete Kelp Forest and the Flying Dutchman's Graveyard before you tackle SpongeBob's Dream.

Yeah they should really change it so kelp forest doesn't require spatula's and the dream does, cause well it is the hardest level.

Where as the only hard part about kelp forest is the race down the vine and that's only if you forget to activate the box on the top, Which it is the only slide where you have to go out of your way to do it all the others it is only a slight detour.

Nice "one up" IT is known to have the three hardest platform sections in the game. Might be "easy" for you but compared to the other two levels in the third section it is the hardest level in that section.

And for a reason, it as meant to be the hardest level.

The original order was meant to be dutchmen, forest, dream. Instead it is dream, forest, dutchmen.

You can say it was easy for you, but it was lterally designed to be the hard level.

I was also able to complete the dream stage easily and The Ball puzzle in the Mermalair was done on my third try. While also completing Larry the Lobster's Sand Mountain Time Trial.

Sand mountain time trials are not that hard, finished all them on firt try. :P no mermaid mans time trial on the vines is the true challenge you have to know every short cut and guess what in they cut out a half the path skip you use to be able to do.

In the Sand Mountain, you need to find the right path. Sponge Bob's speed is constant and it is impossible to beat by using a random way.

the rolling bolder then jumping down at the curve. rather easy path, in fact it is easier then the "main path"

I am loving the trickiness of this level! I just did Mr. Krabs dream, holy moly that was legit really tough! For a small child this sh*t must have been stupidly hard!

Game is rated E but is a for family game aka meant to be hard for all.
