Looks like something to do with the Epic Game Store. I guess it's a crossplay thing for the multiplayer mode if you want to play with friends that have the game on Epic?

How come? I thought GOG provides an open API so other platforms can connect to one another.

I guess GOG didn't want to accept whichever other API Purple Lamp used?

What a shame. I really wanted to buy on GOG but that's a no-no. Glad I waited. Will get the physical version with the Steam key tomorrow.
