If SteamVR starts when launching the game, do this...

1. go to the games properties in Steam.
2. click ''Set launch options''
3. type ''-nohmd'' in the box and press ok

Now SteamVR won't start when you want to play Rehydrated.

just a heads up, for whatever reason hmd support in unreal engine defaults to on, this is also a problem in the Spyro remake

you have no idea how many UE4 games i have in my Steam library that require this for them to not start SteamVR whenever i try to launch them. xD

disabling the plugins will speed up the game too so I'm looking forward to the update that is to come. I can spot a ton of other stuff that can be fixed simply. Not joking about hitting me up for help, I can knock out a lot of issues for you guys very quickly.

Well YES this works for 1 Game only...Deactivate the VR MOVIE THEATER MODE under Options and you wont get problems in any game anymore starting in VR...this "feature" was added by steam Silently...there was no IDIOT DUMB BUTTON INFORMATION like HELL YOU WANT THIS NO????...this is why alot of people are complaining, not just here in many more games.

For the one who dont get it....Left UP on Steam there it says Steam, Click on that it opens a Drop Menue now clock it Settings.It opens a Window....there you choice INGAME...."Use Desktop Game Theatre when launching desktop games while SteamVR is active." Deactivate that.
