Bug tracking and reporting.

Hey guys.

In case you come across any bugs please make sure you test the following first -
Verify files on steam.
Update GPU and Windows drivers.
Restart steam.
Restart your computer.

Press the little + in the corner and you can file a report, also please make sure you post in German or English as that is the two only languages where we can provide full support.

Please include a DxDiag (See below for how to do so)

If you are running Windows 7 or higher, go to your TaskBar.
Click "Start".
Click "Run".
In the pop-up window enter DxDiag and click Ok.
The DirectX Diagnostic Tool pop-up window should appear.
Click "Save all information".
A "Save As" window should open.
Click "Save". (The file should be saved to your desktop as DxDiag.txt)
Exit the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.

Also please include your save game files
Save game files are located -
\AppData\Local\Pineapple\Saved\SaveGames

You will find files by the name (If you have more files than just 1-2-3 then attach them as well)
Slot1.sav
Slot2.sav
Slot3.sav
Usersettings.sav

Attach all of them to the Redmine report so we can take an even deeper look.

How did the bug happen?
What did you do when the bug happened?
What do we have to do to reproduce the bug?

+1 for me too. The setting display value remains between characters, but the behind the scenes value is obviously reverted to default. You have to change it, exit the menu, open the menu, and change it back.
Every time you change characters.

When you first start the game, when you are in the Pineapple the initial place starting, you can actually skip the whole initial tutorial without getting the first spatula as warping to Patrick is enabled. So it allows you to skip the whole initial tutorial without getting the Spatula.

I found an exploit in Rock Bottom, where if you enter the level, leave, and come back you'll get the spatula without having to collect the art pickups. Anyone else confirm this?

Like LemonCakes said, sometimes the "Error. Game cannot be saved." is appearing for me aswell. Hope it gets patched soon.

During the Mermalair for the The Funnel Machines spatula I hit all the targets as Spongebob with his Bubble Bowler move, after hitting all the targets nothing happened so I went to Patrick. Mermaid Man told me to do what I just did since I was playing as Patrick but all of the switches are already activated due to me doing it with Spongebob so I can't get this spatula anymore no matter what even with reloading the game. Talking to Mermaid Man again does nothing, he just explains to me what I have to do again. I basically just lost out on 100% since I can't redo this spatula again. I have two issues with the game currently:

-The game displays a "Fatal error" and crashes when attempting to manually save. Tried saving from Bikini Bottom and Jellyfish Fields. The result was the same in both locations. The bug is consistent and happens every time I save manually.

-During dialogue, I can only hear and see one of the character's dialogue/text boxes. The other character in the conversation has their dialogue skipped completely. This causes the conversations to be one-sided and skewed; it makes things very confusing.

Friend just lost 6 hours of gameplay because the game wouldn't let him save. Just kept saying the game was autosaving and nothing happened. Game crashed just now and all that progress was wiped.

Also if you use inverted controls if you switch your character it changes back to normal and you have to reset it.

I know I'm not the only one with this problem, but the goo in both Jellyfish Fields and Goo Lagoon are miscolored. In Jellyfish Fields its solid white, and in Goo Lagoon it's just not blue (thankfully still transparent and not solid white). I have yet to go to Goo Lagoon Caves or Kelp Forest. But it might be safe to assume it's just as bad there. Does ANYONE have a solution to this issue?

Not sure if this is intended, but achievements for spatulas and socks account for multiple save files instead of just one.
I THINK, but am not sure, that it also accounts for unsaved games. So if I get 10 spatulas, restart the game and get 15 more, I'll get the 25 spatula achievement. Would be grateful if anyone can confirm this.

I can't start Downtown Bikini Bottom. Every time I try to pay and go, it crashes.

On my 55" 4k tv the resolution won't increase from 720p. I can switch to 3840x2160 but it doesn't do anything. This is strange because it works fine on my 27" monitor. It's just on my bigger tv it won't change. I've seen a few other people in different threads that have had the same issue.
