Bug tracking and reporting.

Hey guys.

In case you come across any bugs please make sure you test the following first -
Verify files on steam.
Update GPU and Windows drivers.
Restart steam.
Restart your computer.

Press the little + in the corner and you can file a report, also please make sure you post in German or English as that is the two only languages where we can provide full support.

Please include a DxDiag (See below for how to do so)

If you are running Windows 7 or higher, go to your TaskBar.
Click "Start".
Click "Run".
In the pop-up window enter DxDiag and click Ok.
The DirectX Diagnostic Tool pop-up window should appear.
Click "Save all information".
A "Save As" window should open.
Click "Save". (The file should be saved to your desktop as DxDiag.txt)
Exit the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.

Also please include your save game files
Save game files are located -
\AppData\Local\Pineapple\Saved\SaveGames

You will find files by the name (If you have more files than just 1-2-3 then attach them as well)
Slot1.sav
Slot2.sav
Slot3.sav
Usersettings.sav

Attach all of them to the Redmine report so we can take an even deeper look.

and as much information as possible such as
How did the bug happen?
What did you do when the bug happened?
What do we have to do to reproduce the bug?

I've reinstalled, delleted files, reinstalled my graphics drivers... And the game still broken. When tou start the game everything is normal but as soon as you click anywhere, the contrast and gamma drop, the sound doesn't work, and the game eventually crasshes

I think a workaround is starting a new file and collecting until the achievement pops.

My son is trying to watch his friend play this game but it crashes as soon as he clicks start. Can any of you please help?

I would like to report an issue with the steam achievement unlock. The Ship Shape achievement didn't trigger on collecting the golden spatula.

The task is complete and I have collected the reward for it (which should have triggered the steam achievement) but when I load my save and return to that stage again the button inside the chest is displayed as red and not green (as if I haven't fired the cannons, although I have already done it and collected the reward). When I press the switch again nothing happens (I presume because the task has now been completed).

Is there anyway this can be resolved and I can collect this achievement? Has anyone else had this issue and managed to fix it themselves somehow?

Gold Spatula Achievements not unlocking have come up before, but I can't remember the resolution.

whenever i try to play the game the gamma is like alllllll the way down and whenever i try to change it it wont change at all. i also have no sound and that wont change either. that and whenever i pause the game and then exit the pause menu it crashes my game instantly. i could really use some help with this cause ive uninstalled the game a couple of times, ive verified the files, and i cant really find anything online to help me. i cant refund it anymore and i really wanna play the game :(

Sock Opera achievement bugged, did a 100% playthrough, got all 80 socks and all spatula achievement is showing in my achievement list, but not Sock Opera. Why is that?

I am missing some acchievments but technically I did everything required for those (I should have 100%).

It is like one gaming session was not noted (so the collected socks etc. from that session were not added into account for the acchievment*s) but I rly dont know.

So what does the socks and spatulas say on the progression bar as it seems like either you are missing some of both or its not registering, and the sleepy time achievement usually works after you collect all spatulas in the dream worlds. Are you sure you also killed every single type of robot (besides bosses) as thats how you get the robot achievement. You may also need to replay the patrick boss to get the toxic terror achievement.

I know what you are supposed to do for the acchievments, I wrote with steam support, they said mail the devs. Then I wrote 4 emails to the devs support mail, but they were resent because of spam lmao... (1 after another resent for spam, tried second without screens for proof and the third with just around 200 symbols). Steam support says go mail them but the mail does not even reach them.

I tried a lot, but this community thread + the bug report site mentioned above by Zyddie are my last hopes. I wont replay the game for those acchievments, I will not grind twice for that. :/

I dont blame you one bit for not wanting to replay it. Mainly because it seems like you are quite a bit away from completing those. The issue that usually happens is that Steam doesnt account for some of the collectables which means that you have to replay and collect the amount that you are missing for it to register. Its a bug thats been a part of Steam/the game since the game came out.
