A thought...
When it comes to the Steam version of the game will keyboard users get a easy way for inputting the cheats? I dunno

Well, you never really know. Unless a developer specifically said that cheats were going to be completely removed. The PC version might have a console to input commands in, since most PC games have this feature anyways. Every Steam game also has a "preload commands" prompt if you go into the properties of a game, so maybe that would be another way to input certain commands.
The developers already specifically said there's no cheats or DLC. Steam's advanced startup options is limited to only doing display changes since the game is locked to a specific directx version and literally no game has any special command you can use, and the game doesn't appear to have a controls menu so there isn't a way to set a developer console key bind even if there was one. So as far as I can see there is absolutely no cheats in the game and no console to use.
