It's inexcusable not to support it and W7/8.
this is a reminder before hand: make sure you have enough memory (RAM) and processing power (decent cpu) to upgrade. windows 10 takes a bigger toll on your system than previous versions of windows (duh)
here is the link to the updater: https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/software-download/windows10
and a guide if you need it : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uyj2EAdyJPw&t
i'd recommend installing windows 10 then doing a fresh install through the windows 10 settings. as using the updater can cause some OS issues.
I'd also suggest once you have windows 10 installed you go ahead and update microsoft edge, as microsoft edges base version will take up processing power even if you do not use it. so just open up microsoft edge and type in microsoft edge download.
downloading their update for edge will cause it to not run in the background.
hope this helps anyone who is looking to play certain games that only run on windows 10.
this is what i used to play gears of war 5 when i bought the game i didn't realize it would not run on 8.1 .
this updater will always be free and available to use because microsoft wants more people on windows 10.
