Level Editor
That might sound really far-fetched but is there any chance the devs might implement some kind of basic level editor in the future after release?

BFBB is by far my favorite game of my childhood and it would really mean the world to me if there was a way to extend it with player created custom content. That way people can contribute so much more great things to this game and it's community.

If the devs dont make their own level editor for players to use, I assume someone would make a mod for it.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Since the game runs on Unreal Engine 4, it'll be easily moddable anyway.

no not really. UE4 games are harder to mod than UE3. the most you can do is... Model, textures and sfxs. Maybe text too? but no full on level mods are possible. only model replacing.

This is very true. A Hat in Time for example ran on UE3. The game gave modders a huge opportunity to show off their creativity by adding their own level editor, allowing you to import mods from games on other consoles, things like that. Someone even modded in Cappy from Mario Odyssey, and it was a perfect clone. You could do pretty much every move you could do in Oddysey in a Hat in Time with the use of that mod, and it made the game that much more interesting and added a lot of movement capabilities.

These things just aren't possible with UE4.

Great, now I'm imagining Spongebob and Cappy partnering up for some reason.

If only the devs were as smart as the hat devs.
