Is Clancy Brown in this?

PLEASE tell me you actually got Clancy Brown to voice Mr. Krabs this time. I don’t know what stopped him from voicing the 2003 version but damn it, his understudy (no offense) was the one blemish on an otherwise perfect game! (That and Ernest Borgnine’s understudy)

Brown has been missing from 2 spongebob games now. Take all the time you need but whatever you do: DON’T MAKE THIS THE THIRD ONE!

using the original voice audio is a double-edged sword. on one hand, the characters whos actors all reprised their roles are great. on the other hand... mr krabs still sounds like someone doing a bad impression of him. imitation krabs, if you will. this isnt the games fault so much as it was the decision to not have the one voice actor who wasnt there originally reprise his role (as mermaid mans actor is dead unfortunately). seriously. it can't have cost that much for ONE extra hollywood actor to re-dub old lines.
they were even able to re-dub several foreign language versions with their original shows cast, it cant have been that bad to bring back clancey brown. at least the intro song is the same used in the show and not the version recorded specifically for bfbb which wasnt as good.

But here’s the dumbest part: if they really couldn’t get Brown or Hemingway for their characters, there are SO many people out there that can do better impressions of them than the current understudies. Someone I tried to reach out to is youtuber Uncle Al, whose Mr. Krabs voice is spot on. If he could record the lines unpaid (and there really isn’t that many) we could mod in his recordings and it’ll work perfectly!

that’s the idea, undoubtedly the modding community will find a way to edit the audio files, what we need is someone with a good impression to record the lines, which is a matter of talent rather than skill.

Mr. Krabs's voice is different in the game. Personally, I didn't like it.

It's because due to his union contract if they got Mr.Krabs, they would have to get every other VA in the game to redo their lines, this game was made about 10 monthes and Nick really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ the budget, so they made the right choice I think.
