Marco Kröger as Patricks German voice and Clancy Brown as Mr. Krabs English voice.

Sorry for spamming this everywhere I can but as long as I have the opportunity to make this happen, I won't stop asking for it. :D Please try to make it happen, Purple Lamp Studios. I have high hopes for this remake.

As most German fans of the show know: Patrick's voice actor, Marco Kröger, was replaced with Fritz Rott after demanding a higher payment from Nickelodeon for using his voice in toys. As this game is based on seasons 1-3, the golden age of SpongeBob, I really wish for you, as an old fan of SpongeBob, to please hire Marco Kröger as his voice ingame. I know a lot of voice actors who were present in the show like Squidward or the Flying Dutchman have already passed away or have gone into retirement, but Marco Kröger is not one of them and he would have already been okay with voice acting Patrick in the second movie but he wasn't asked to do so. Now you have an opportunity to hire him for this game which is mostly aimed at fans of the show who have seen season 1-3.

Also: Heavy Iron Studios couldn't get Clancy Brown to voice Mr. Krabs in the original game but now, you Purple Lamp Studios, have the opportunity to hire him to do the voice lines for him ingame. If you are adding stuff like the Robo Squidward fight and Patrick's Dream, you will probably record new voice lines for these two things anyway and you'll have to get Bill Fagerbakke to record new lines for Patrick in this level and Mr. Lawrence to record new lines for the fish announcer for the Robo Squidward fight, so why should you not try to get Clancy Brown.

If any of the developers of Purple Lamp Studios or employees of THQ Nordic are reading this: Please take it into consideration, you will make a lot of fans happy with these decisions.

The German version of the original game replaced ALL the voice actors. I would assume this is probably related to their contracts where they'd ask high prices to voice for a video game or something.

If we're unlucky, it won't be any different this time. It's also possible they're not going to record any new lines at all but instead use the old ones.

They already announced that they will rerecord it with the current German cast of the show.. I really hope they at least try to ask Marco Kröger before they just rerecord it with Fritz Rott. He was already okay with dubbing Patrick for the second movie, 4 years after he was replaced with Fritz Rott. I think that Fritz Rott is a talented voice actor and I really like his work in other shows and movies but I just prefer Marco Kröger as Patrick.

I just hope that Purple Lamp Studios will give the players via DLC the choice to choose between Fritz Rott and Marco Kröger, so nobody has a reason to be disappointed but that's just wishful thinking, they probably won't do that.

It'd be nice if they got Clancy to voice act for this game. Mermaidman however will have to keep his game VA since Ernest Borgnine passed away years ago. Tim Conway recently passed away too, but they probably don't have to record new lines for Barnacle Boy.
