DW 7 XL or 8XL?

I know 7 has a better story while 8 has better gameplay but their cons are don't compliment each other.
From what I know 7 does not feature co-op anymore while it does have all the DLCs included. (No achievements either.)
8 on the other hand has better gameplay, story is passable BUT the "complete edition" doesn't even include the dlcs which makes it very scammy since other storefronts have dlcs included so it's hard to decide now.

7 was the last in the series I actually played, I remember enjoying it a lot but considering the direction the series has taken I don't regret dropping out after 7.

if you really want 8XL complete with the DLC, you can go to Microsoft store.

DW7 does have co-op in it, and the only version of DW8 that has all the DLCs is the Switch and Microsoft Store version.

DW8 has better combat but worse story telling and also removes historical accuracies introduced in 7. 8 is also very ugly with its brown and gray textures and lighting. It just looks awful compared to 7 and its more colorful environments. 7 feels like it was trying to capture a more novel China over a realistic China. However 8 does have a better Xtreme Legends mode and Free Mode. So pick your poison, better combat and Xtreme Legends or better story and art really. Honestly 8 felt pointless like 3 and 5. Doesn't do much to improve or change from the last game also 8 does reuse music from older games and barely has anything new. Kind of lazy like DW3.
