Controller buttons don't work properly, and setting a new controller profile in Steam didn't fix it. Controller is recommended, but it only has partial support. Sigh. I don't have the energy to wrestle with this when I have about 40 better musou games to finish. I wish publishers would stop ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ broken console ports onto steam. Sure, steam prices are better, but if you buy a diamond on the cheap, you sometimes get a hot slice of poo.

Play DWXL8 or SW4 on a console instead. Hell, even DW9. At least the buttons work. -- Even better, get a Switch and play 1) DWXL8DE, which has a better framerate than PS4 (which I value over visual quality) and 2) Fire Emblem Warriors, easily one of the most solid musou games I've played. It's dated, and it isn't fancy, but it runs well and stays fun throughout.
