DYNASTY WARRIORS 7: Xtreme Legends Definitive Edition

DYNASTY WARRIORS 7: Xtreme Legends Definitive Edition

This version
has a damn ton of diffferent maps and missions..I think even more than DW8 Complete.

At least without the extra dlc the "complete" edition got.

Alone all the DW2-6 stages makes this interesting.

Yeah, totally agree, a crap ton of content!

Wish they would release the "DW8 Definitive Edition" thats only on the crappy WinStore

Sure, that one is missing a couple of DLC (and you cant link the DLC to DW8 Empires) but at least its not an exorbitant amount of money.

how does the graphics compare to DW8 is it a remaster or just the same port from PS3?

Honest game look's just like the PS3 version.

How much more content does the xtreme version add? I played the vanilla version years ago

What about DLC stages from Conquest mode? I see all the DLC stages in Legend mode, but none of the Conquest. Do they become available as you progress through?

Yes, it is the PS3 version, same release as here on Steam, but with all DLC (expect the "Special Costumes" ones) included

So technically, the Steam version has like... 16 additional costumes and 1 weapon.

But the Steam version is (at least for me) almost 3 times more as expensive.

Yep, you need to unlock the regions first, then it should pop up as a golden hexagon on the top of the map.

It has a lot more additional costumes, weapons, music and stages + all the xtreme legends extras as well.

You would need to buy dw 7+ xl + dlc to have everything this steam version has in terms of gameplay content

Why is that one called Definitive and not Complete? Did they at least make it have PS4 assets?

Cause to KT "Complete" means Base Game + Xtreme Legends and "Definitive" means it also includes the DLC for both.

Or it doesnt really mean anything and they just went with that name.

And no, its the same version as the one on Steam, so no PS4 assets.

Definitive generally means DLCs in addition to being Remastered or Graphically modified

COMPLETE generally means DLCs/Bonus content without any major graphic enhancements if any at all.

Those are the differences

Well in this case on PC both versions are scuffed PS3 ports instead of PS4

Regardless of the version, i can tell its graphically enhanced, especially the on screen map.

My son got this for me last night as an Xmas present
i wasnt even aware they were coming out with this until he mentioned it last night lol

The downside is its still a DX9 game, they didnt update it to DX10 or DX11.
