SW4:E was... kinda bad to be honest, as far as Empires go.
I mean, I would still buy it just to show KOEI that Empires sell...

We will be getting Samurai 4 DX (SW4 + SW4-II) later this year.

Marketing is currently only for Switch/PS4, but i am sure there will be a PC version as well.

As for Empires... i dunno :(

I got Samurai Warriors 4 Empires not long ago, and I did not like it, but if it had come bundled with the other two, that would have been great. Sure buy for sure.

Which Empires game was the best? PC only had DW8 Empires and that was awful. I thought there will be special interactions between characters and famous battles replayed with custom officers but nothing.

Empires is about custom characters, factions and conquering territories. And that's exactly the content I love.

Apparently Nobunaga's ambition wasn't enough for me .

According KT Twitter, SW 4 DX will be release next year on March 14th in Japan. Sadly, only available PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

Not likely its too late plus 7 already had a pc port on steam but it was japanese only. You will be lucky to get dw6 and dw5 special which had pc ports 6 already had multilanguage support which would be most likely to happen next for steam release imo. If your really lucky there is a pc port of SW2 but i'm not sure if it included everything from the xl expansion. Warriors Orochi 1 had a pc port with multilanguage support too also.

I think its more likely that we will get Samurai Warriors 4 DX than any of the older Warrior games, koei just released the Atelier Arland Trilogy DX on Steam, so they are not strangers to porting console re-releases to PC for the first time.

A western release will probably happen months after the JP release, so we still almost a year away, with Koei's port track record, its more than enough time for a PC release.

The true question is, will we even get a western release of SW4 DX?

Koei is very fickle with releasing the last addition of their game in western areas. Hence why we have never gotten any of the special games with the exception of this.

I feel like DW7 DX was more of a prelude to a potential re-release of DW7DX on the PS4 down the line. Because otherwise this is pretty unusual of Koei to have a PC only release.

But i feel we will have more chances of getting a new PC release if they also come with console releases as well. So thats why i think SW4 DX has a good chance of coming to Steam.

I feel like the older titles will only get released here if Koei decides to release them on consoles as well.
