Why the ♥♥♥♥ do i keep getting kicked to main menu

I literally cannot play this game. I get kicked to main menu every single time I try to do anything

Is the main menu loading up?
Are you clicking host, join or single player?

I'm sure he means multiplayer, people just keep kicking you out of lobbies. No communication on why, happens most of the time

UGh it's a problem in phasmophobia too.

I either get a long loading time to join the lobby or I'm kicked.
I assume its because players in most lobbies are trying to play with friends or in a discord group. Doesn't help that when you host you get players who don't stick around or have no idea what to do and leave as soon as their caught.

Necro'd my thread 10 days late. Already refunded game. Trash game no replayability huge issues with connection that happened to me and my 3 friends all of us constantly kicked to main menu when trying to join each other.
