Can't start the game.

I downloaded the game and Uplay and got it to load the cinematics seen all the settlers going about their business and then nothing. I got the metal glove cursor all over the screen and nothing else. How do I start the game? What am I missing?

I got cannot find uplay. Please check your installation again.

Sorry to hear you're having issues starting the game.

Could you please first verify the game files in Steam to make sure there're no issues?

Then check if your antivirus program oder firewall is blocking the game.
Also update graphics drivers and install available Windows updates to make sure your system is up to date.

Another cause can be software conflicts with background programs. Please test this by disabling all programs not required to launch the game or take a look at this FAQ:

same issue , why put stuff out there and it will not run ? I have verified and done all other stupid crap NOW WHAT ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????

downloaded game and uplay made account trying game uplay ask me to log in so do my acc info its loading and say this service is not up atm try again later. what do i need to do?

The same thing happens to me, someone can tell us how to solve this problem. If not, I will ask for the return of my money and go to another game.....HELP

For anyone finding this problem in future, I found that it seems you have to start the game in the Uplay app. If you try to start it in Steam, it juts won't launch into the game. Stupid.
