The correct thing to do is to open the user's default browser outside of VR and start the regulat OAuth flow that way. You're training people to be phished. See Tilt Brush for an example of the secure way to do this. I know it sucks having to remove your headset but it's better than being hacked. Security trumps UX....

I can interact with dropdown menus enough to see the selection options but I can't actually select anything. I'm also having a lot of problems selecting items in general: I frequently have to tap things multiple times to get the page to respond. Last, having a ball is great for pushing buttons but for interacting with web pages where you are trying to select a small field, a ball with a point (a cone?) would make selection easier and more accurate. ...

I'm not exactly sure what I'm experiencing. From my desktop, I can sign into the website using my email address. When I go to my profile, I have the option to create a new password but I'm supposed to have the old one that I was never asked to set up. Trying to sign in while in VR appears that it's asking for my email password. (Edit: the website offers the option to start the program, and I get the Steam bootstrapper warning but all it does is bring up my Steam browser. It will not start the program....
