Can Steam and GoG users play coop together on pc?

Thanks! Im a fresh new client and i love the game. I can see this becoming my go-to zombie/monster shooter. Im exited for the DLC. I assume i can buy it on GoG also? Its kinda become my main platform now for me n my friends.

when you make a lobby, you get a code that they can input to join it, so you don't have to join via Steam/Epic/Gog directly.
