Copy local save to cloud

When I select campaign, I can either choose my local save (where I have progress) or a new cloud save.

How do I copy my local save file to be the cloud save?

We are platform independent, and for those reasons, we don't integrate steam specific features. Since cloud saves need to work for any platform and all platforms, we have our own tech.

At the moment there isn't a way to upload your local file to the cloud. We will add that in a future update.

You can however, copy your cloud file into your local bin.

I support this. I tried loading my cloud save but there was none, which means cloud does not work for this game yet.

There are cloud saves but I started playing prior to them. There must be a way to transfer local saves to the cloud

AFAIK you must start a new Cloud Campaign.

I assume that if you start a new cloud save then simply copy paste the other save text file contents to the cloud save text file (replace the contents) you will be able to transfer. I gave myself some ammo and plexus this way.

They should have update the steam store front , it doesn’t show that steam cloud was supported

That's because Prodeus doesn't support Steam Cloud, it uses its own server.

I've tried transferring the contents of the local save to the cloud file, but it never loads the local file. The cloud one on disk only seems to be a backup. Maybe you could spoof it by going offline?

Okay, so if you turn off WiFi/Ethernet (go fully offline) after clicking 'Cloud Continue', then transfer the contents to both the .save and .save_backup from your local save, it will load from disk. At this point you can turn WiFi and Ethernet back on and 'Save/Quit' to have your local save then transferred to the cloud.

You mention transfer the contents from your local save.... where do you transfer them to?
Where is the location of the cloud saves?
