You can turn sprites off and have models if you want.
Doesnt change stuff like barrels and various other things. I don't want to play with the models, they look worse, I want the misguided idea removed. It doesn't look good.
I personally think it looks amazing, it's what sold me on wanting to try Prodeus and thus end up backing it
Don't agree. The sprites moving looks considerably worse and makes the player misread what's happening
It's meant to look like sprites though. And they are lit by the environment wherever they are. The shader is practically witchcraft
I think they just need to tweak a few of the sprites to fix it.
Options are always great though and if they got around to adding that choice, I would be all for it.
Whether something looks good or bad isn't decided by the opinions of everyone. It is decided by the opinions of those who know what they're talking about
A lot of people get emotionally attached to games and defend them emotionally. Purely objective analysis is that it looks bad and it's misguided.
