with full houses and over 100 food in stores. All my housing is built around the marketplace so there's no running across the town to get supplies.

I'm trying the free mode, and once i reached 168 population everyone goes into their home and left all the work places, stopping everything. And i have a cascade of folks running aimlessly out and into the main hall too. It's there a population cap? I can keep call immigrants, but i can't do anything since the whole city just stop....

It feels like these two things are way too common. Every house is always damaged, the architects run from house to house to repair them only to return and restart from the beginning. Also.. the moment I have 68 residents my whole town burns to the ground. Just because fires can happen when you get to 68 residents, it shouldn't always happen right then. I can rarely get a firefighter building or two up, but it doesn't matter, the fire consumes everything. Also the auto extinguishing doesn't seem to work. Ev...
