No option to connect to multiplayer

Ever since I bought this title, the game has not been able to connect. It gives me no reason for this issue. The multiplayer and the "social" submenu is locked. I will press on the reconnect button, but after 15 seconds or so nothing changes. I have tried changing Ipv4-6 settings but this did not help either. Customer support is taking forever to help me, but it seems almost like the game cannot connect to my steam account even though it is an activated steam product, and I launch it through steam. My account is in 'Online' mode.

I should also note that the mod menu works fine, I can even download them. I have tried reinstalling the game but that did not help.

Same here. I've only recently bought it and started playing the other night but everything online has been crossed out.

Managed to get online working.

For me, if I launch it from the Virtual Desktop menu it won't allow online. This is the menu I'm referring to: https://techtipsvr.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Virtual-Desktop-games-menu.jpg

If I launch it from my Steam Library then online works fine. Hope this helps.

I did read somewhere about setting up a DMZ in your router with the PC can also solve this. I had also done this, so maybe worth a try?

The problem with this is that it leaves your network unprotected. Should not need to do this. I have the same problem.

I don't think it's a true DMZ I setup, more like MAC address allocation so that only my computer will connect through the router. I've been online fine since doing all the above though.

Yeah same issue here as well. Got as far as 10 min into a match by luck it seems and randomly get booted just about any part of the loading process. Plus the constant loading with multiplayer. I would rather the game not start at all if the multiplayer does not stay connected.

Going into my router settings and turning IPv6 from "disabled" to "auto-detect" fixed it for me.

i did this to my router, but how do I know this is the solution? i went to a IPv6 website and im only getting IPv4 signals even tho i already turned it on?
