Cheating?

I am noticing more and more immediate headshots and also awareness of players location without actually being able to have Line of sight. As the weeks have gone on it has become more prevelant.
I can expect people to become naturally better as the game is out longer but some of what I have seen is outright obvious. This is destroying the enjoyment factor for me. Does this game have a anti cheat service?

Never underestimate the number of people willing to find those perfect crevices where you get like a 1 second warning from a shadow and they know to just fire through a sliver in the wall.

Drives me crazy too, but honestly, I like a good sniper round myself. I'm not the fanatic who knows the secret places, but I can see the appeal.

I've known a few of those guys. Everyone thinks they're cheating but they're really just camping.

Not saying it's not true. Could totally be exploited. Most I can say is join a league and play with people you know and trust to not be rude.

I feel the same way. It's not that they are just hiding/camping and aiming at a pre-determined spot. They are running around corners at full tilt and insta-killing me with submachine guns fired from the hip. Seems very sketchy.

I'd also like to know if this game has anti-cheat. If not, it's sadly got no future.

yeah sometimes it does feel like it but in same time it can just be someone familiar handing guns and using a rifle stock

yes exactly. I've trained to shoot real guns from the hip because thats worked for me in combat, and those same skills transfer to the game.

I don't think i see any cheating or glitching in this game. I also don't get why camping is considered rude. Could someone explain???

too many cheaters this game im convinced is full of them and they are playing in teams on casual with over 1000 games played getting headshots while 180 turning in midair with elevation changes despite being shot while doing so they always come out on top

all due respect you are not a developer and wouldn't know it if you saw it. or are defending it by acting like it doesn't exist when there is pages full of results when you google aimbot for this or any shooter.

Considering the low number of players and the amount of pages and visits to pages selling cheats is probably a good 1in5 players are cheating atm

UP, I also find more and more cheaters, but I don't know how, if, we can report them. Just right now a guy can kill me instantly at every random corners in the map, huge fun

On top of possible cheaters there are also the veterans playing this game daylie. If you're a casual player (like me) you get your ass handed and this game having a low playerbase to begin with you will be matched frequently with those guys. They are good and they will show it on the other hand it kills the fun for every casual player making them just quit midgame (I do that too). If the match is already determined before it even started because you see those names I directly leave the match.

Mate, Anti-cheats don't do jacksh*t more times than they help (especially things like EAC and the other common ones). Example, VRChat recently added EAC... which was gotten around by the malicious client devs within an hour or two of it being ou ton the BETA branch. Malicious people WILL find a way to do their thing (sadly). It's like the war on droogs... noone's winning, and the closest one to winning is the hackers/droogs, casue they still are out there and used every day in every part of the world, despite laws/anticheats...
Plus, many MANY anticheats are a privacy risk on their own, like the one Valorant uses, with its Kernel level access.

I tend to leave a match if there are team players in the game. No one likes getting their ass kicked, or treated like cannon fodder. Most of us just play to have some friendly fun. I find that playing late at night (US time), is best for finding a friendly game. Ground War is probably the game that has the most competitive players. Maybe the Devs could use player KD ratio in game options?

after last night gaming I believe there are cheaters. I do not mind getting my butt handed back to me. I look for those matches to get better. 2 dudes in this server I was on last night, I noticed it was like they knew exactly where I was at all times. Before rounding a corner, I would hear the gun fire start only to walk into the head shot. Catching me after the corner, fine. Even if it is immediate. I would write that off as latency issues. But before and I can see and hear the firing but not quick enough to stop or back peddle? thats a little sus in my book.

He simply heard you. Either the footsteps or your talking (there is spatial audio). Or maybe he aimed at someone different and you walked into his shots.

I havent seen or heard of a proven cheater in 2,5 years. I dont say that there are no cheaters, but the probability is still very low. The skill gap in this game is just immense and sadly there are many idiots, who like to stomp in casual lobbies.

I wasn't sprinting, I was the only one there, and my microphone was muted since I had a child in my room screeching at Warzone and I didn't want to plague the server with my squeaker. Also the 2 dudes in question were camping. Like I said, it was a little sus.
