Is the game worth it?
So ive not really played much FPS in VR wondering if this is the best to get i have tried a few rounds of standout and pavlov..standout seemed a bit blurry and it was annoying, pavlov just didnt really seem to fun.

also im using oculus and im wondering if its fine to game with just the controllers, ive noticed alot of people using tubes how big of an advantage is that?

I play on oculus, and I can confidently say that contractors is the best FPS shooter to-date, by far.

I have been experiencing crashes after updating AMD RX480 drivers, and normally this would push me to uninstall, but Contractors is such a nice VR experience that I will troubleshoot/wait for an update. The devs are very active.

I haven't played online yet, just against the AI bots so far, but I'm enjoying it a lot! I have a Samsung Odyssey+ HMD on an RTX 2080 and the graphics look really good. I'm seriously considering buying a VR gun stock though, especially if I start trying out other VR shooters like this one.

I just let it auto-configure and have played like that.

How lively is this game? Many servers?

it's better than Pavlov. And I love Pavlov. The stock-fitting mechanic is worth the money alone, but the teamplay is divine.

I have Onward and Pavlov, this game is the best of both. It has the realistic damage of Onward, but with the faster pace of Pavlov, but not as arcadey. Graphically it's superior to both, but Pavlov is a pretty close 2nd. This game also has the best weapon smoothing I've seen. I run a 2 sensor Oculus room scale setup, which doesn't give very good tracking. Officially room scale requires 3 sensors. Using magnified optics in Onward is pretty much impossible, it just sways all over the place, in this game it's as close to rock solid as it can be. I have been playing this game so much that I ordered a 3rd sensor and it's on its way, just to get that bit of extra tracking. I should warn you though, this game is very compatitive. I can only assume that some people use guntubes because I don't have any other way to explain how that's such a huge gap between some players.
