Is the Mamut the best vr gun stock out there?

I know theres also protube, but i like the magnetic thing the mamut has going on

Protube has a magnetic upgrade. I was thinking the same thing but I didnt like the fact that the mamut was just a straight tube. then i started looking at Protube and saw that they have a mag kit that goes in between the "cups" and the tube brackets. also you can save some money ordering the DIY kit version, which is the same thing just in pieces that you assemble.

I got the protube in carbon and the magnetic Upgrade. Yeah it's expensive but awesome.

I tried to buy Mamut's but they don't ship to my country so I had to craft one with PVC.

I use the Mamut.
It's a magnetic "from the top" setup with a carbon fiber body so it's really light in weight. The main reason I use it are because it's an above controller stock with higher powered magnets; it works fine for me. (easier to snap stock back onto controllers; rather than trying to find the stock and connect it from the bottom). Watch ppl play. You'll see them search for their stock when switching guns.

That being said, I'm iffy on recommending the current Mamut stock. The stock to me is too small and needs a bigger butt stock, among some build quality issues (magnets need to be reglued with better epoxy - something you'll need to diy)

However, they've considered feedback and are designing the next stock. It looks really amazing. The new stock can be mounted ABOVE or BELOW the controllers and include magnets. Mamut will be the ONLY company to have such a feature.

The main reason I never got the Mamut stock was because you can't switch your front controller from a vertical to horizontal potion with ease (From this[cdn3.volusion.com] to this[www.wikihow.com]).

It kinda seems like the new one has that functionality in mind.

Depending on what issues your having, there is a menu setting that allows you to calibrate weapon positions relative to your wand so they better fit your stock and you have an easier time aiming.

Mamut looks pretty bad tbh, haven't tried it but anything that mounts the controllers at the top is going to interfere with tracking and probably bump your headset when trying to aim down sights.

Get a Magtube (protube with magnetic attaching upgrade)
