Variale Kickflip harder then 360 Flip?
I dunno if its just me. But if feels like the Character does the 360 Flip even when i make the slidest rotation with the right stick. Do you have the same experience?

Having same the issue i can hardly variel or pop shuv unless I rotate the sticks a slight hair without getting 360s

Same with hards! I have to do a really smooth and slight "shuv it" motion to get a proper looking hardflip or else I end up pulling a 360 hard without a sweat. The primordial problem with skate games and skate sims still stands in SKATER XL, which is that the harder tricks IRL are the easiest to pull off in game, specially by accident.

I personally have no problem doing varials or hardflip, have to be lighter on the sticks. This is just unfortuntely how the physics on the sticks work in a game like this. Hard fast flick = fast trick. Sllooow down. I rotate the stick from about 6 - 9 or 6 - 3 (for example) slow for a nice slow shuv that works perfect for varials, hardflips, inwards, shuvs, etc. If you have to do it a hair your just moving the stick way to fast.

So are shuvs pressure based or in joystick terms based off acceleration pace? For some reason i thought it based off the distance, Hopfully this works next time i play :)

Yes, flip and shuvit speed is proportional to how slow and smooth you turn and flick your analog sticks. It seems to be a combination of initial input force, distance and for how long you hold the sticks. I just wish they'd turn the sensitivity down on shuvits. But flips are fine, I can consistently do half-flips with no problem.

If they turned sensitivity down on shuvs I could only imagine normal shuvs being even harder for people due to people having issues with them producing the right input speed for the trick. I could be so so wrong though. I am not trying to attack anyone with this opinion but it sounds more like an issue that maybe you have trouble controling your input speed when you do a roll motion with the stick but you no issues when it's a simple horizontal/vertical motion...?

Don't worry! XD I've actually get no issues when pulling those tricks off. I like that it takes a more gentle motion to get it right, but I'd prefer to turn down sensitivity because I think 360 shuvits (and consequently lasers and 360flips) are too easy to pull off as it is right now. This would probably also help with the problem of pulling off tricks we didn't intended to, I think?
What do you think?
Adam 10 ENE 2019 a las 3:27 p. m.
After learning it was accelerated based I am having no issues but i do feel the shuvs should be able to handle atleast a less aggressive swipe to feel more natural for me which is subjective, 360s are just to easy to pull off with a relaxing swipe.

I think it was harder for me to learn 360 shuv variations in this game than it was with the Skate titles. I mean once you get good at something it only gets easier as you practice. So yea its easy to do those tricks. I don't think doing laser flips down a set a stairs can really get much harder in a video game... until VR skating is a thing. Glad you got down shuv variations Pump Damage!
