water. . . insects? There is a water update on the 27th, but the life you find. . . it might not be "insect" based.
That being said. I wanna go fishing for tadpoles in the lake some time. That would be a fun mechanic. . . assuming the scale is what I think it is?
You can search for Grounded leaked content, and many of the new items are already in the game files and can be spawned in with console commands, though in their current state some don't work fully in the build we have, or have placeholder models. Also in creative mode you can see many items available that we don't have resources for yet.
It may not all roll out with the 27th update, but with whats already there am sure it will be.
The Bombardier beetle?
Eye patch (upgraded preferably)
Any chest piece, Acorn, spider or grub works best
Aphid Slippers
Ant Club (crafted not rotten)
Hit the beetle then kite round it, stay close and keep moving towards it's back side. Especially when it lifts its butt to shoot acid, The slippers give you that boost of speed and the eye patch gives you the harder hit (and extra whack when upgraded)
Keep moving round and round whacking the ever loving crap out of the bug till it finally dies. just keep in close. and away from it's front, really.
Update on 27th August
Ew, if it's not officially stated then it's an unintended spoiler (or it probably is anyways). Either way, nuuuuu.
I was talking about other one. I got the one you were referring to easy by sniping from the rake. I am also making sure to be very "obscure" so that I di not spoil any content for anyone. We are in a public forum under an official post after all.
PS I did not know there was a rotten club.
Well, I use a similar strategy for most insects with a decent heath pool. The only difference is with the smelly ones, I use a gas mask or back up to get out of the cloud., since they follow you to keep combat going. Also the big mean mother humper, for those I use the block hit - block hit method when fighting. Since with most insects getting hit once is not too bad, but those on Whoa....
Though, there is a certain bug with the charge attack, that charge can be blocked, you can also stop it with an attack when they start to charge.
Mwuhahahahahahahahaaaa! All shall die by my hand!
Ya but dont you need stinky dead to get the head piece to fight the stinky? I'm curious how you killed the first 1. I had to use a trampoline elevator to kill mine. But I feel like that was kinda cheating because for most of the stuff, I just used blue place holders with the trampoline and top floor being the only thing that I actually built and made solid.
The only thing you have to worry about with the stinky boys is their fart cloud. They telegraph it, so as soon as they lift their butts, back away. After they gas, they will come after you with a few bites, you can either block or kite to the side as you beat on them. When the butt goes up, be someplace else lol. After the first is done make the gas mask and use the gas attack animation to really lay on the damage.
If you want to easy cheese a win Where the 5 congregate near the cassette tape, by the picnic table stepping stones, they hang out by the weeds beside a trench, stand on the other side of the gap and shoot them with arrows, they will stay at the edge in threat posture and do nothing, its an easy cheesy way to get a few stink bugs
I struggle with them because their bites almost 1 shot me in full acorn and timing is hard. If your block timing isnt perfect, you take chip-damage.
