Can I stop Wendell from following me?

Title says it all. I went farther in the story than I wanted to, now I'm at the javamatic mission and I want to hit the brakes and finish the rest of the yard (haven't even seen a moth yet...) but Dr Tully keeps following me and it's starting to piss me off. Is there a way I can get him to stay put somewhere?

If this works then you're a life saver. I wasn't expecting end game to be so close to where the last update left off.

I don't think this works, or if it does it doesn't work in my game. I've interacted with him and he just keeps either floating his way to me or appearing where I am.

take him to the glowing frankensting castle, thats the final FINAL boss and he will stay down there till you finsh

I went back to his lab and he's stayed there with his exclamation mark. I wish that the O.R.C. enemies wouldn't come after you while he's down there.

When you walk up to him, don't talk to him, just look at him and what the icons on screen tell you. I think the default is F, which makes him stop, or follow.
