Poisoned Ant Queen food recipe locations

I've only managed to find the one for the Fire Ant Queen. If you go right immediately after entering the jungle hole, it's against a pillar in the middle of the tunnel.
I've had a look around the other ant hills, but didn't spot the others. If the Red Ant recipe is in that hill, it must be incredibly well hidden.

The thing you're talking about is the infected version, the poison one is after the assistant manager boss fight and it's very hard to miss lol

The red ant poison is in the haze lab at the lever where you open the door to the boss room, and the black ant one is in the black anthill lab on one of the tables in the lab. in newgame+, you can find the infected recipe in the black anthill lab in the assistant manager area where you have the broken MIX.R. thanks for the info about the fire ant one cause i want to find what the armor set does if its worth the kill or friending it.

Befriending gets you the baby ant pets, and the Antbassador mutation, which makes Ants (red with 1/3, red and black with 2/3, all with 3/3) friendly. It for sure seems like the 'worst' option of the three

It depends... How strong actually is ant queen(s) gear? Is it worth using over any other armour set and weapons, at the cost of permanently enraging even otherwise neutral ants?
You could say that the mutation itself isn't worth picking over other, more powerful ones... but even without the mutation, befriending the black or fire ant queen (especially the latter) means sparing oneself from a lot of tedious fighting against hostile ants wandering all around the upper yard.

I think its super depend(ant) on whether you decide to go into NG+ and beyond or not. I maxed the mutation out in NG and now I'm infecting them all. Best of both worlds, doing the entire game without ever having to deal with an ant and I still reap the rewards of the ant queen gear. The efficacy of the gear, though, I'm unsure of. I haven't made any of them yet
