Give us a 6th Mutation for New game Plus
Please just give us a 6th mutation this is the only thing i care about for 1.4 is a 6th mutation,

it would just be sooo badass if we could get a 6th one someone maybe if its a trinket that adds +1 mutation or new armor set that adds it as a bonus, set

just give us a 6th Mutation already thats all we care about really,

and a scorpion

Did they seriously not up the cap of active mutations you can unlock with this update? That sucks ass. If I have to grind and go through hoops to unlock various mutations then allow me to have as many as I want active when the last upgrade is bought. Welp, time to resort to mods once again.

If you want the game to be that easy just lower the difficulty and it'll all be the same

Game difficulty is not the problem here, it's max active mutation slots. I hate to be that person but can you even read?

it's annoying having to swap between mutation loadouts 20 times.

No, his point still stands. They can't add more mutation slots without making the game significantly easier. The more slots you get, the less you have to worry about creating a dedicated build.

I always have 4 loadouts, 1 for grinding materials (looting mutations), 1 for running around quickly, 1 heavily offensive melee setup, and one ranged setup, and those 4 completely cover everything I need.

If they keep putting in mutation slots, you lose the need to have to decide how you are going to build your character because you can essentially do everything in 1 build which would in turn, make the game way easier.

As someone whose played NG+4 extensively in an attempt to 100% (All story bosses, infected broodmother, blah blah blah), there should be SOMETHING. I'm getting outright 1-shot in full level 9 sturdy roly poly armor with a damage resist (50%) trinket and all health molars from base game all the way up to NG+4 by some bugs with certain mutations.

Whether it's more mutations, or armor upgrades, there needs to be something. I wanted to see all the new stuff, but it's absolutely BRUTAL. Who the hell asked for souls-like difficulty?

I agree, the armor upgrades should be a logical addition, i mean you can upgrade weapons, but not armor ? (and even if you upgrade it, it's limited "by default", not by your NG+ level, which sucks, cause at some points, your damage will cap...) in a game where every NG+ gives MASSIVE damage boost to every insects ? that's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥...
This kind of "increasing" difficulty is not a good difficulty setup, it's one of the worst possible way to increase it, because you don't increase the the balance, or the skillcap, or the fun, you just make everytime harder to kill and frustrating by increasing their stats and the game's lifespan artificially, that's stupid as f*ck and people often dislike that kind of trick...
It's like playing Diablo 3 in Torment 16, but naked, no interest...

That bit, I agree with. Defensive capabilities do not scale with enemy damage capabilities very well as your new game increases, though I don't think another mutation slot would do anything about that. They need to add a way for the player to better scale their defensive capabilities alongside the enemies ever-scaling damage output, unless their intent was demand a 100% perfect block rate at new game +3 and beyond, but I agree that isn't really fun in a game like this.

Another mutation slot would allow me to slot a defensive mutation, since I usually only slot offensive ones because they tend to be the best.

NG+3 and higher ? bro you can get OS in NG+1 tho, even by a red ant sometimes...

This. I think every 2nd NG you should get access to add another mutation since it is far more effective to just spec for damage with some feeling absolute must...
